A Year Ago Today

A year ago I was miserable and pregnant with my 12 pound baby!  I was HUGE!!!

This was the day before I went to the hospital to have my fun c-section!  As you can see in my face.........I hate being pregnant!!

This was right when they pulled him out.  What a big boy!  12 stinkin' pounds, and that was a week early!

He was a beautiful newborn (even if Leah doesn't think so)!  The nurses all loved him.  My nurse would take him at night for me and she said that they would hold him all night long and had nicknamed him "Bubba" because he was so big.  I thought that was appropriate since I was from the south.

They didn't have any tops or diapers to fit him, so my nurse went and bought him a onesie at'Walmart.  She was really nice!

Here are a few pictures of him from this first year.  He is so beautiful and we have enjoyed him so much.  For the most part, he was a really good baby.  We love him so much and can't even imagine our little family without him!

Breaking Dawn

Okay.....I'm so excited that I could pee in my pants!  This friday night at midnight, you can grab your copy.  I am headed over to the bookstore tonight to reserve my copy (hopefully I still can).  But I do have to say that I am a little worried.  Stephenie gave a spoiler for the book this morning on EW.com (thanks Cori for letting me know this) and the very last sentence says that "Everybody wins, even team Jacob."  What does that mean?  I hope it means that Jacob finds his person to imprint with and not that Edward is going to die and Bella ends up with Jacob!  That would be very disappointing, in my opinion!  If you have read these books.....what do you think will happen with Bella and Edward?

So hello everyone let me start by saying that this is in fact not Elizabeth but her Arch Nemesis Leah. She thought it would be funny to change my background to this hideous thing. I am not even sure what it is. I felt that she deserved a little pay back. I am sure that she will think twice before ahe comes after me again. Wa ha ha ha ha!

1.  The Ped-Egg!!!!

It is stinkin' awesome!!!!!!  You would never have believed the shape my feet were in.  In Leah's words......."You have the worst feet I have EVER seen!"  She was the one who actually shaved my feet for me.....Thank you Leah!!!  I really can't believe how good this thing works.  If you have been considering it and not gotten it..........GO BUY IT TODAY!!!!

2.  I went last night with Leah, Kim and Rachael to see Mamma Mia.

 I'm not a huge Abba fan and I had no idea what the movie was about.......I was just happy to have a girls night out!  But I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!  I will be buying this movie when it comes out.  I just loved it!!!!

P.S.  I am in love with Colin Firth!!

I don't know if he has any guilty pleasures, but he loves basketball, rugby and Cultural dancing.

18. How did you meet?
We met at BYU-H. His cousin, Ana, served a mission with my brother and I had met her while she was on her mission. She found me when I first got to BYU-H and she became my only friend for a little bit. She would invite me to go to the Tongan club activities with her and that was where I saw Io. I wasn't real attracted to him at first because he looked mean! But then one time we went to a pool party where we were playing basketball in the water and I had gotten a cramp in my leg and gotten out and was sitting on the side of the pool. The basketball then rolled out onto the deck and he went running after it. He then fell flat on his back and just laid there laughing he head off. From that time on I knew he must be mine!!!!

19. Who proposed?
No proposal, just kind of decided together that we were getting married!

20. What is his best features?
His legs and butt. He has huge thighs and a nice little bubble butt. He'll kill me for writing that! LOL

21. What are his greatest qualties?
He is the most honest person I know. He really, truly tries to be honest in everything that he does!

Sweet Moments

Sea loves to feed his little brother and Matai LOVES to eat! So in that aspect they get along great. Just don't let Matai try to take one of Sea's cars!!!! :)

It's not only adults that open their mouths when feeding babies!

He had some left over on his fingers. Matai didn't seem to mind!

Matai has been taking steps since he was nine months old, but he decided that crawling was easier and faster. He just recently started walking everywhere. It is so cute when they first start walking. They are in their underwear because we just got back from the pool and bathed. Matai loves to eat and is trying to steal the yogurt from Sea also.

Late Post

So I forgot that I had these pictures.  They were taken the Sunday after Viliami's party.  A member of the primary presidency brought him to me asleep.  He had fallen asleep while sitting in primary.  He must have been very beat because Sea never naps! 

What We Did For Our Anniversary

We just love, love, love to go to a little town close to us called Copperton. It is the cutest town ever. All the houses are old and have been remodeled. LOVE IT! In the middle of the town there is a park. It has nice big trees for shade, a pavilion and tables for eating and it is just the funnest park ever! They have one whole restaurant in the town and it just happens to be what ???? Hawaiian food!!!!
So for our anniversary we went and got food at this restaurant and took it too the park to eat and let the kids play. It was nice. Leah joined us. She was coming over to cut 'Aisea's hair and to watch the results show for "So You Think You Can Dance", aka SYTYCD! One of my favorite shows ever, next to Lost!

Okay.....Ioane left me a comment on my post about our anniversary and it was too sweet NOT to post!!  (when I make my blog a book, I'll want this to be in there!)

This is Io. I just want to let my wife know that I thank her for all her love and support. I couldn't accomplish my goal in life without her undying love and support. I will always love her. I am glad I'm with her because without her I will be nothing. She's the most wonderful and amazing person that Heavenly Father send to me. She will always be mine.... By the way, she's an amazing woman and a mother... I learned a lot from her. I don't think I can do her job....Thank you honey for always being there for me...Happy Anniversary to us! hahaha

Five years ago today........

.....this is what I was doing with my day. :) Me and Ioane got married in the Laie, Hawaii temple on June 26, 2003. I'm so grateful for this him! He is such a good man. He works hard to provide for his family so that I can stay home with my babies. He plays with his kids and loves being a father. He is a good husband to me (even when I fail to realize it). He puts up with me (and I don't think many people could do that)! Nobody can drive me as crazy or make me as happy as he can. Things are NOT perfect by any means, but I couldn't imagine life without him. I love this husband of mine!

It's funny how time makes you forget. For some reason I thought that we had 10 people on each side of our line, but we only had 7 people on each side. This was our line. It consisted of both friends and family.

This was our MC, Lei. We had to fill out a questioniere before hand and give it to her and we played a game and for every question we could answer right about each other, we got some money!

We had lots of good entertainment! Ioane danced at the Polynesian Cultural Center, so he had lots of friends that were willing to dance at our reception. It was fun. This is a picture of Ioane's sister Milika performing.

They made me do a "Samoan dance" when I had no clue what I was doing. At least I had danced in the Tongan club culture nights and I could have somewhat faked that, but I had NEVER dance a samoan dance before!!! It was the worst part of the whole day.......

.......but I did get money for it, so I guess it was worth it!

Stupid Posting!!!!!!

To those of you who read about Viliami's Birthday Party.........I can't get the stupid words to go where I want them to!!! So it is all jumbled at the bottom of the post. I'm tired of working with it and I'm giving up!!!! Maybe if I can gain some composure, I will try and fix it again later!!!!

Vil-nami's Birthday Party

Viliami turned two this past week and Kim and Sione had a big party for him. We all had lots of fun as you will be able to tell from the pictures below! Isn't Viliami a cutie?

This is the view we had from where the party was. It was pretty if you didn't think about why the water was actually green instead of blue! LOL This is Utah Lake!

Then all of the fun began. Kim had bought a big water slide for the kids to play on. Sea played on it for six hours straight!! He LOVE it! He also loved playing with Leka Aho. They just seemed to be the best of friends. I'm glad she was there to intertain him!! Thank Leka!

We just chilled under the pavilion and chatted. The shade kept us nice and cool and it was good to talk and hang out with those that I hadn't in a while! Matai just "hung" out too, but he was also busy trying to get into everything he should be! He is a stinker, that one! But all in all I think he also really enjoyed being outside!

There is cute little James Tafea with Katie Aho. Isn't he sooo stinkin' cute??? He is just a big little guy. You should see the thighs on him!!! They are HUGE!

After all the cooking of the meat had ceased, all the boys decided it was time to play a little volleyball! They were very good to work around all the little ones that got in their way! :)

Here are Melanie’s feet and mine. I bought these shoes way back in 2004, when Dennis got married. A pair fro me and a pair for Melanie and I think mom got a pair too! They were only 5 bucks, but have turned out to be the best pair of shoes!!! I thought it was funny that we both wore ours shoes that day!

Sea got a good little "tan” by the end of the day, that really turned out to be a burn. I even applied 50 SPF sunscreen 10 minutes before he got in and then reapplied later that day and he still got burnt!!!

Matai and Ioane had both "had it". They were beat!! I had very tired and grouchy kids by the end of the day. We had another birthday party to go to that night for Iva Hunt, but because the kids were so grouchy and tired and because the air conditioner in our van decided to quit working, we didn't get to go. (Sorry Kaitlyn and Iva.....hope you had a great party and Happy Birthday!!!)

P.S. Ioane does not have a black or swollen eye. He was just making a face for the camera!

Picture day

A week ago Monday me, Rachael and Leah took the kids to get their pictures made. We used the Target picture place, I think it is the same company that does JC Penny's pictures too. So......on the way over both of the boys fall asleep, of course! LOL Sea was pretty easy for Leah to wake up, but I could tell that Matai was still WAY tired. So we sent Gracie in first and she does a fabulous job.....she is all smiles and does what the people ask her too and her pictures turned out TOO cute! I'm sure Rachael will post them for you to see! Anyways......then it was my boys turn!! Sea with his fake smile and Matai with his crying! But even with that..........I think they turned out fabulous! LOL
Anyways......the lady at target had talked me into getting special package for 80 something dollars (with tax 93 dollars). So thank goodness after we were done, we walked around target for a little while and I started adding up things in my head and realized that if I had just used the coupon I took and bought each sheet for $3.99 that I would have only spent $35.00!!! I took it back and told them about their mistake! So she fixed it and I decided to add the smile station to my order for $4.99. I am here to say that I still have not been emailed the stupid smile station!!!!! I called to complain and they said they will submit it again and that I have to wait for another 5-7 days!!! UGGGG!!! The whole reason for getting the smile station is so that you can view the pictures before you actually get them!!!! Whatever! Anyways..........enjoy the pictures!
