This was the view from my apartments yesterday. It looks the same out today, May 1st, there is snow. However, this time I am not complaining!!!!!! Can you believe it??? And this is why.....On Monday it was almost 80 degree's outside and as I sat in my hot apartment, it hit me like a rock!!! I think we might be to poor to use our air conditioner this summer!!!!!!!!!!! If that is truly the case, I will be spending every waking hour at the pool!! So today, I am grateful for the cold and in the summer I will be very grateful for the pool!

I can't say that I am glad for the snow, but I think in your situation I would be. And I definitely will go to the pool with you this summer! But I do have to warn you that I will probably just lay there like a beached whale.
I understand the poor part. Maybe we can pool our money together for one little air conditioned room... We won't tell the boys.
I can't believe it snowed. Usually I'm jealous about snow, but not so much today. I'm ready for summer and the beach. Come visit and we'll sit in my air conditioner. Then we can all go to the beach. No more naked swimming though.
All my windows are opened and I am enjoying what little bit of spring we get down here. Next week it will be so hot the air will have to go on or I'm definatly not COOKING!
I'm wishing for snow right now too! It's so darn hot over here! PS: Where do you find all of your blogger templates?? Mines is getting boring.. to me... and probably everybody else too!
I wish it would cool down a little here. I am dreading this summer because we already have to have our ac on at least once a day for a few hours or it gets over 80 in our house. I thought we would at least be able to go until June without the ac, but I can't even open up window to let some air flow through because it is constantly winding here and the dirt blows in....so I am not sure how much we will be able to afford to run the ac this summer. And I don't have a pool to go to....
In Spokane it may be hot during the day but it cools off quickly at night. You could move up here :). I hate Utah in the late summer. It just doesn't cool off at night. Ugh. We have had a really late spring, too.
It is pouring here today and we've not gone over the 55 degree mark. I can't wait for some warmth and sun and swimming....As for A/C, I think everyone is too poor this year, thank you President Bush.
I remember Sunday afternoons in our little apartment in Utah. It was the only day we were at home during the hottest part of the day--ugh! I would just whine about how hot it was. We had no air and no swamp cooler and it was miserable. However, I'd take summers in UT any day over summers in GA! Holy cow, it's already crazy hot here and it's only May. It might not be a pretty site, but I'm gonna have to spend my days at a pool too.
As for being poor--I think we can all thank Exxon Mobile and BP for that. I'd sure like to be on their payroll right about now!!
