Forgive me!!

TwilightNew MoonEclipse
I am so sorry that I have been lost to the blogging world as of late, but this is the reason why.
Everyone always talks about how good these book are and I have always wanted to read them, but with kids, never really felt like I had the time.  Well while my parents were here, I picked up the first book, Twilight, and read it within a week (it only took me so long because I still had to do things with my parents while they were here!)  Since then I have read the second book and I'm half way through with the third one.  Sorry that it is consuming my life at this moment, but trust me, if you saw my house you would say..........Please don't even worry about blogging and go clean your house.  I promise I will be back soon.  I just had to read them before the movie comes out and once I started, I can't stop!!
I have to say though, that it has been forever since I have just sat and read and I realize that I have missed it so much!  Thanks you all for you understanding!!!  LOL

My sisters kept telling me how good these books were and I was just talking with Joe about how I want to get them. They are at our Walmart here for $13, but the first one is in paperback, and I just don't like that so I have to drive up to Amarillo to see if the first one is at Barnes and Noble in hardback. Also, I have the third volume of "A Banner if Unfulred" that just came out that I still have to finish.....so much to read, so little time

Hey I was just on Amazon looking for the hardcover when I saw that there was going to be a fourth volume due out Aug 2. Don't know if you knew that, it is called "Breaking Dawn"

I have read all 3 of them 2 times and waiting for the third one. I'm so excited. There are trailers online for the movie. It looks good.

My sister is hooked on these too. I read part of the first one and must admit it was a tad addicting. No time though to read now, but what is up with everyone writting about vampires.

I buy all my books off ebay and I set a limit that I won't pay more than $5.00 and that includes shipping! I've gotten so many good books that way. I'm reading "No Doubt About It" by Sheri Dew and I got it off e-bay for $1.00 and shipping was $2.50. I love reading books I didn't have to pay and arm and a leg for, since that is what I'm doing now for GAS these days! LOL or CRYING OUT LOUD! Hey, did you get your stamps?

Am I the ONLY one in the world who didn't like them? * tucks head between her legs and slinks off *

Aren't they sooo addicting! You're in the exact situation I was last month. I'm still trying to get my house cleaning and laundry caught up. But it's so true about missing out on reading. This series was the first I've read in a LONG time too, and it totally made me realize how much I love and miss reading. Anyways, have fun reading! I'm starting her newest book that just came out, THE HOST.

Natosha got me hooked on them and I read all three of them within a month and a half. I also just picked up her new release The Host, and loved it. It took a while for me to get into it, but when I did, let's just say it took me only 4 days to read that one too. I was upset because here in Italy I didn't know when we'd finally get the 4th one that's coming out in August, but now that I'm going home, I can get it the day it comes out!!! Oh, and by the way, how dare you FINALLY get me hooked on your blogs then make me wait over a week before I hear from you again :)!!! Stephanie

P.S. I happen to be a Harry Potter fan too and can I just say that I finished books 6 and 7 and I have to recommend them too. That new movie comes out in November.Stephanie

I want to see what all the hype is about the books as well, but I have a difficult time reading fiction. Misty tried to get me to read Twilight last year and I even went so far as to check it out from the library. Then when I found out it was about vampires, I lost interest in wanting to read it and returned after 4 weeks. It has to be an incredible book, highly referred, for me to take time out of my day to read. I love history and non-fiction, but have a difficult time reading fiction. I hate that I am this way, but oh well. So are the books REALLY good?
