My blog cheered someone up!

I got another award and I have to say, "It feels like the first time!" I got it last week and I'm just now getting around to posting about it because I had such an eventful week last week. Sorry Amanda ! It's not that I'm unappreciative!!! Thank you very much for giving this award to me. I am so happy to know that my blog has cheered someone up on occasion!
She talked a little about her blogging experience so I thought I would do the same. Although, if you go to her blog and read about her experiences about feeling lonely.......she describes my life to a tee!!! My friend Kim was the one who started a blog. I had heard of blogging, but had no idea what it was. So, for a bit, I watched what she did. It didn't take long before I KNEW that I had to have one too.
I love blogging. It has helped me to rekindle friendships, start new friendships, and keep in touch on a daily basis with those that I love. I love that I get to talk about anything and everything that is on my mind and people actually enjoyed hearing (or in this case reading) about it. And I love that my parents can feel a little more apart of my children's lives by seeing updated pictures and video's of them all the time and read about what they are doing these days!! I also love that I have a journal now. I've always been horrible about keeping one and now it is so easy for me. I could even print it out if I wanted to, although I can't remember what the name of that site is right now. (If you know, could you leave it in your comments please!)
So anyways......onto who I am going to award this award to. If you get it you are supposed to send it to 10 other people who's blogs have cheered you up! Oh and I gave it to those who haven't gotten it already from Amanda!

Congratulations everyone!!!

Thank you, Elizabeth! As I have said many times before, I wouldn't be blogging now if it weren't for you. I feel as if I have been your apprentice, learning my craft from a master artisan. You have changed my life, and I have passed my knowledge onto others. It's like throwing a pebble into a pond-the ripples of your tutorship will continue for generations to come!

BLURB.COM just slurps your blog right up, you can edit it as you want and publish it (prices very reasonable - we use them for a variety of things and they are good quality) and viola - you are a published author! And you have a journal to torture posterity with.

And thank you for the award! Someday I will post about it! I promise!
