A Horse and a Dragon

I just looked up mine and Ioane's Chinese signs. I am a Dragon, how appropriately is that??!! LOL A fire breathing animal! Don't make me mad!!! LOLOLOL
Ioane is a horse!! I just think that is hilarious since that is what some cultures call Tongans because they eat horse.
So I never really read what they signs really mean. I started to and got bored with it and quit reading. But I just thought the two were appropriately titled. And what is funny is that I always thought I was born in the year of the Rat. A rat or a dragon??? Guess I'm glad I'm a dragon!!

Till we meet again!

I am going to miss President Hinckley so much!!! He is the first prophet that I ever related to. He had such a sweet, powerful countenance. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. I loved that most about him. I am so happy that he is now with his wife Marjorie and his Father in Heaven, but I am sad he's gone and will miss him so much!!!

The Children's Museum

Yesterday we got to go to the Children's Museum with our new friends Kim, Brenden and Talan. We had a blast there! Me and Kim got to talk and get to know each other better while Brenden and 'Aisea played and Talan and Matai watched/slept.
Here is a picture of Brenden (working the top crane) and 'Aisea (working the bottom crane) in the construction area of the museum. They loved the little fireman costumes. It did make 'Aisea hot though and by the time we took it off, his head was a sweaty mess, but he loved it!! We all know how easily 'Sea sweats!
Then the other pictures of the horse were taken in their farm/garden area.
They also had a water area that had balls floating in it that looked like bubbles and there were different courses you could send them on.
There was a suppermarket that they could grocery shop in and even check out centers.
They also had a new desk, a truck/gas station, a small house, a learning center, a helicopter, a craft center, a stage and costumes, ect.......
Needless to say, there was sooo much to do that we didn't even get to do everything that there was to do!! We will be going back here to play for sure!!!

Wednesday Night Activities

This past Wednesday we took 'Aisea to see "The Bee Movie". He quite enjoyed it!! It was at the dollar theater in Sandy....and did you know that on Wednesdays movies are only a dollar all day long (on other days only the matinees are a dollar and the evening movies are a dollar fifity)! After the movie, we went to Chick-fil-A to eat and did you know that on Wednesdays, for every combo you order, you can get a free kids meal!! They also have this cool play area for the kids. What a deal!!! LOL

My Huge Baby

We all thought 'Aisea was BIG, and he was!! But I have to say, even though he was big he doesn't even come close to how HUGE Matai is. This is a 12 month old pajama that 'Aisea wore when he was walking. 'Aisea started walking at 9 months 3 days. Matai is 5 months old here. It blows me away and breaks my back!!!! LOL

Finally!!

He can finally do it!! It took him a little longer to learn than it did 'Aisea, but he's got it now! Of course 'Sea didn't have near the weight to hold up that Matai does!! And Daddy has a hard time holding him up for any length of time!! LOL

Where's 'Aisea??

When Ioane got up this morning for work he looked in 'Aisea's bed to check on him. Much to his surprise, Sea wasn't there. His bed was empty!!!!! He tells me and we both hurry into the living room where this is what we found! We have no idea why or when he went to sleep on the couch, but for some odd reason he did!

Brotherly Love

We have to "control" the love that 'Aisea gives to his brother, but he sure does love Matai! Matai likewise, LOVES 'Aisea!! He is always watching him and smiling at him and laughing at everything he does. You can already tell that he looks up to him so much.

3...2.....1 Blast Off!

'Aisea launching rockets with his Daddy and his Poppy. Yes this was Christmas time in Georgia and they are wearing shorts and short sleeved shirts!! Gosh I hate the snow!!!!!! LOL

TOPS

Well that is the last of our Christmas Vacation pictures. Now I have to tell you what happened last night when me and Kim attended a TOPS meeting. TOPS stands for Take Off Pounds Sensibly! It is only $24 a year to join and is supposed to be comparable to Weight Watchers, I've heard!
First of all, when we walked in, we noticed that we were by far the youngest people there. Not that that's a problem, just an observation. We sat down and listened as they proceeded to go over about 26 pages of things that they had printed off of msn health. So many different topics that my head was spinning! Then they were done! So I asked "durning the week, how do we keep track of if we eat too much"? She said, "Just write everything down and you will know if you've eaten too much or too little, you'll look at what you've written down and just know"! Ok.....not at all what the website for TOPS says!
The "leader" who was the lady that gave the lesson also, came over to talk to us. She told us that are real laid back and that she has been a member for three years and only lost 8 lbs. She said that they are mostly there for the support. Well if she's only lost 8 lbs in three years then (hello) the support ain't workin'!!!! She also told us that if there is ever a fifth monday in the month that they weigh-in and then don't talk about anything dealing with weight loss, they play bingo!
So needless to say, I won't be joining that chapter. I need much more structure than that!! We are going to check out one more meeting, but if it is the same way, then I'm just going to have to suck it up and find money somewhere to get my butt back to Weight Watchers!!

In and Out

In the carseat!

Out of the carseat!

Visiting with Family

This is my mothers side of the family. My aunt Mary and uncle Dwayne and my cousin Robin with her family, Jeff and Brandon. They are living my dream......they have connecting houses. That has always been what I have wanted for me and my parents.
'Aisea loved playing with Brandon and Brandon (bless his heart) was sooo patient with 'Aisea! What a great trip!!

Visitng Mary Jane

We took some time and went to visit my step- grandmother, who I had never met, Mary Jane. While we were there she had this picture of my grandfather. I've only ever seen younger pictures of him and he looks a bit older in this picture.

Harpers Ferry

These pictures were taken from Harpers Ferry, right in front of a hotel where my daddy used to work. This is where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers meet. Isn't it beautiful? And they say that this is the ugly season!!

The Battle of Harpers Ferry

We drove around looking at a few sites and this was where we first stopped. It was a civil war battle site in Harpers Ferry. Sea loved running around the field and his daddy chasing him around. It was quite cold out....so we didn't stay very long!

Visiting with Family

We absolutely loved visiting with our family and catching up on things. We spent out time chatting, playing cards, and playing ping pong(which Ioane just loved). I'm just realizing that I don't have any pictures of Diane's husband, Adam. We were the ones taking all of the pictures, so we aren't in any of them!
Picture One -- Uncle Smiley
Picture Two -- Diane and Jamie
Picture Three -- Uncle Kent
Picture Four -- Jason, Jessica, and Uncle Kent

Picture Five -- Cindy, Randy and Hannah
Picture Six -- The whole crew with Aunt Jean

Ward Christmas Party

I know that these are way out of order, but I forgot that I had these until I looked at my brothers blog and saw his Santa pictures. Santa asked 'Aisea what he wanted for Christmas and he told him he wanted a Thomas the Choo Choo train! And Santa brought him one too!!!!
