The "Y" Genereation

Because I thought this was sooooo true, I borrowed this from my friends Kirsten's blog! Thanks Kirsten!!

In its January 22, 2008 edition, the Quebec City newspaper, Le Soleil, had a topic about generations by age group.Generations are grouped as follows:-The Silent generation, people born before 1945.-The Baby Boomers, people born between 1945 and 1961.-Generation X, people born between 1962 and 1976.-
Generation Y, people born between 1977 and 1989. Why do we call the last one generation Y?

This drives me crazy, when I see people who's pants are about to fall off of their butts. It bothers me even more when I can see their underwear or butt cracks!! Yuck!!! I don't want to see that .......just keep it to yourselves!!!! And how can it be comfortable when you have to hold your pants up when you walk or keep pulling them up. I just don't get it!!!

How many times have I seen young skater guys running while holding up their pants with both hands? If they trip and fall will they catch themselves or just fall on their faces while still holding their pants up?

I would think that would cause some serious chafing. Looks totally uncomfortable to me.

Elizabeth, I started a blog. I got inspired by you. I don't know how to do this though. I'm totally clueless. I'm just set up as Sheila Jensen

You just made the cutoff into Generation X, Elizabeth! Unfortunately, Io didn't. Fortunately, he wasn't raised in the US. HA!

But you have to talk about the WALK that is required when wearing said pants, too. You know, that shuffle, jerk-spasm, dog paddle lurch. You can't have the crack with out the walk, homie.

I was technically born in generation Y, but I've always thought of myself as a generation x-er. I don't like the apathy that exists in generation Y. I want to be considered part of this country's up and coming corrupt politicians generation!

I'm bummed, because I thought 1977 was the last year of Generation X. Who in the heck wants to be a Gen-Yer? They're whiny, lazy and show butt crack. :)
I think some of us are Generation X and a half!!
