Fun in the Cold Weather!
We went to the Lehi Legacy Center on Saturday afternoon and met Kim and Viliami there. We had so much fun swimming and playing. It was so cold outside, but the water felt like bath water it was so warm. After about an hour and a half of swimming Matai pooped out. But I'm glad that he did b/c that is the only reason I was able to dry off and take these pictures. There are lots of pictures, but we had so much fun and I got some cute ones, so I needed to share.
I had to put those pictures of Viliami on because they were so cute, but also because Viliami was terrified at first, and then this was him by the end. He was having a ball!!
We had fun. Sea loved the slide and Io even went down once. It was fast. There was another child's area that I didn't get pictures of that the kids loved too. It had two little slides on it. Then there was the BIG slide that Io took Sea on twice. We just all had a blast!
Oh and don't you just love Viliami's and Sea's matching walmart shorts??? So cute!
Ward Easter Party
Not the best pictures, but these are from Saturday at our (late) ward Easter party. They did it a week late because they thought a lot of families would be out of town.
They had pizza and root beer floats. Then they had an Easter egg hunt and it was freezing outside. That is why there are no good pictures. It was too cold to stay outside and get a good one. But anyway.....this is how our Saturday began.

Family Pictures
These are not the best quality pictures, but people can get the idea anyway. Here is my story. After we took these pictures, we went swimming. The whole time I kept asking Ioane if there was black stuff around my eyes and he kept telling me no....my make-up was fine. How could it be fine? I'm all wet! Then it occurs to me that I had never put on mascara that day. I had all my make-up on except the one element that makes the biggest difference on my face!! So, naturally, I hate every picture of myself, but there are some cute ones of the boys. I am slowly losing my mind!!!!

Kimberly Williams Paisley
I'm sorry if you think this is crude. I find it hilarious!!! Thought I'd share! Enjoy!
Here we go again.
I know people probably get tired of my posts on the weather, but it is just crazy to me. I, obviously didn't grow up here or around snow. I grew up in Southeast Georgia, so we pretty much just don't have any seasons, which I'm okay with. But seriously.!! It was in the 60's yesterday and like this today.......
What the ?????? I know Tifani, you said you can't count on anything until after conference weekend, but it still just blows my mind. I guess I should just be grateful that we have a few nice days in between our snow day, and I am - because then we can at least get outside a bit, but every time it gets nice out I get my hopes up that the snow is finally gone. I can't help it. Anyway.....I'm sure this won't be my last post on weather. So, sorry if it bores you!

Amy this is for you!
Leah and Ioane's Basketball Date
Yes I said Date!!! I let me husband go on a date with my best friend!! Weird? No, not really. I'll put it how Leah said it. "It's like taking a kid to a candy store." He had never been to a Jazz game before. Well he had never been to any sort of NBA game before. Leah's friend got 4 tickets and it was supposed to be a double date. Leah's date had to cancel at the last minute b/c of company coming to town and that made my husband the lucky winner. They had a really good time. Io wants to go to another game sometime. We'll have to see about getting tickets!
At the end of the "date" Leah's friend tried to hit on my husband. Just kidding!! She did tell him that he is hot (like his head needs to be any bigger than it already is.) But I agree....I have one hot hubby!
My little 'Aisea!
'Sea came and got me the other day to look at what he had wrote and he had written his name!! What a smart boy. He also knows all the presidents up until Bill Clinton. I'll have to get that on video soon. But it will be a long video!!
Oh and to let you know.......His name does not have an "H" in it. I don't know where he got that from. We have never told him to spell it that way!!!
We just bought the Bee Movie and this song is in it and he loves it! Sugar. Honey, Honey. You are my candy girl....and you got me watchin' you! Just in case you needed translating! LOL Please excuse him picking his nose at the beginning, but when you live in Utah, you really can't help it!! I used to laugh at people driving in cars, picking their noses and now I just look at them and think, "I feel ya"!

What a cool day!!
We bought an annual pass to the zoo the other day. It is nice to be able to get outside again! There is a white alligator there right now. Not to be mistaken as an albino alligator!
There are only a handful of white alligators in the whole world! It was cool to get to see him.
Then we went by Wal-Mart to grab a few things and low and behold the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile was there!!! It doesn't get much better than this. I've never seen it in person before so I had to take pictures!! LOL
There was also a fire engine there. It was cool. But it would have been way cooler if there had been a Tony Stewart Car there. :) Poor little Matai in the car seat with his head poking up for the picture.

The new "Love of my Life!"
It's true. There is a new love in my life. The Oreck XL21. Does life get any better than this? Seriously, I get happy when I think about it, almost to the point of having butterflies in my stomach. The vacuum cleaner I had before was such a piece of crap and I couldn't take it any more. I went to the Oreck store asked if they did payments and they said yes (because they are not cheap).....so I watched their little demo and said......"I must have one!" Life has been good ever since.
Isn't it amazing how much a dirty floor that you just vacuumed can affect you? With my new love, my floors have never been so clean! It is worth every single penny! I am one happy Mama!!
P.S. It also came with this handy little canister vacuum that you can just throw over your shoulder and get all the hard to reach places. And I also get a free prize that I get to pick from their website. I'll let you know what I pick in the near future.
P.P.S. It also comes with a 21 year warranty and 21 annual tune-ups!!
Potty Training
My little man is potty training and for the most part IS potty trained as long as we are home. My question is......How do you ever get up the nerve to take them out with underwear on and not a diaper? Any suggestions?? My biggest fear is being in the middle of Wal-Mart and there being a huge yellow puddle at the bottom of my shopping cart!
Mother Nature
In the last month it has gone from this, to...........
this, to..........
this, to.......
this!! Gee, I wish "Mother Nature" would make up her mind. I'm so tired of the dang snow!!! I'm ready for it is just be nice enough out that we can spend some time outside without freezing our butts off and NO MORE SNOW!!!!!! Bring on Spring. I think it is in the air now. But I thought that before it snowed again this last time....so who knows???

Canned Chicken
I just have to say that.......I have a Sam's Club membership and I love it! The membership itself costs less than Costco and I have found that over all the prices at Sam's are better than Costco. But I do go with Kim occasionally to Costco and they do have different stuff there than Sams and that is fun. But I have to say.......the Costco brand canned chicken is ten million times better than the Sam's canned chicken!! I really couldn't believe the difference! I am now converted to the Costco canned chicken for life!!!
This post is for two reasons......one, I wanted everyone to know how much better Costco's chicken is and two, for Leah and Wendi to see that you really can post about anything!! JUST POST!!

Our Vegas Trip
As most of you already know, me and Kim went to Las Vegas this past weekend to audition for "The Biggest Loser". I know our chances are slim, but if you don't try then you have no chance, so we decided to give it a shot.
This is how our trip started. This picture was taken about 2 minutes away from my house. Maybe it was a good thing because for the most part, Kim's driving didn't scare me at all and that is not usual! :) (love you Kim!) But I think it made her slow down a little! Maybe??
This was the nice police officer that pulled us over. He clocked Kim doing 53mph in a 35mph zone, but only wrote her a ticket for 40mph in a 35mph zone. Gee---what a nice guy. We both think if we were skinny he would have not given us a ticket at all, but because we are fat........... I told him that we were two fat girls on our way to Vegas to audition for "The Biggest Loser" and he was kind enough to warn us about the speed trap from Filmore to Beaver. So that was nice of him too.
This is the front of the line. We were around the middle of the line. It took us 9 hours to get through it. They took in a group of 10 at a time and interviewed them for about 5 minutes. Me and Kim didn't feel that we had a good opportunity to show them who were are and they encouraged us to go home and make a video to send in, so we did. That will hopefully come later on my blog. I just need to figure out how to post it. It's long!
This is the back of the line.
'Aisea was great for the nine hours. He played in the rocks for as long as we were by the rocks and when we moved to a new line he made friends with what he calls his "favorite friend". She was great with him. They played together for a long time and she helped me to intertain him. Thank you 'Aisea's "favorite friend" Judy!
This is how Matai spent most of his day. Just chillin'!! He was really a good little boy!
Here is Kim waiting in line with our new friends. Funny thing.....we were surrounded by mormons. The two girl in front of us were from South Jordan and Lehi and the guys sitting with us were from Las Vegas, but also were mormons. They were also the two guys who had had gastric bypass and gain their weight back.
This is me waiting in line.
